Job summary

HealthEdge Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software for our healthcare platform. You will collaborate with product owners, QA, and other developers to deliver scalable features and ensure quality.

You will work with modern cloud technologies during our AWS migration, contribute to AngularJS/React transitions, and help optimize our payer solutions for efficiency and affordability in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience building enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong C# programming with .NET Framework and .NET 5+.
• Proficiency with AngularJS, Angular, and/or React in a real project.
• SQL Server development including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• RESTful API design using ASP.NET WebAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with message queues (Azure ServiceBus, AWS SQS, Kafka).
• Unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) and TDD practices.
• MVC/MVVM patterns and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software features according to business requirements with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using WebAPI; work with JSON in distributed systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server database solutions and performance tuning.
• Create responsive UIs with AngularJS, Angular, or React for strong user experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID and design patterns with automated tests.
• Identify concurrency issues and resolve blocking/deadlocking in code reviews.
• Debug complex issues and refine features based on testing and production feedback.
• Contribute to technical design docs and architecture decisions aligned with product strategy.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones and keep strong communication.
• Drive innovation by adopting new technologies and improving processes.
