Elevated Hires is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and deliver scalable web applications in healthcare technology. The role emphasizes React 18, TypeScript, accessibility, and robust data-fetching architectures.

Remote work is supported for U.S.-based candidates, with Pittsburgh as a preferred location. You will collaborate across teams to translate complex requirements into practical front-end solutions, uphold HIPAA safeguards, and ensure high-quality code and tests.

Qualifications

• Deep mastery of React hooks, context, lazy loading, and custom client-side state without Redux.
• Expert TypeScript knowledge including generics and discriminated unions.
• Experience building a custom client-side fetching engine with caching and error handling.
• Implement accessible UI patterns and maintain high test coverage.
• Extensive testing with Vitest and React Testing Library.
• Tailwind CSS and design-system primitives in production UI.
• Strong understanding of IANA timezones, date handling.
• Browser profiling, monorepo workflows, and reading backend contracts.
• PHI/HIPAA safeguards on client-side data.

Responsibilities

• Architect State & Data Fetching: build client-side state and data-fetching without heavy external libs.
• Maintain high-fidelity UI: author and maintain design-system primitives using React 18 and Tailwind.
• Deliver complex clinical workflows: build multi-section forms with validation and timezone handling.
• Enforce accessibility: implement ARIA patterns and maintain test coverage.
• Protect patient privacy: ensure logs/analytics/tools do not expose PHI.
• Cross-stack collaboration: trace API contracts to Python/FastAPI and implement router-level authorization.
