Job summary

eVisit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help redefine healthcare delivery. You will develop and support enterprise web apps using React, lead development efforts, and own architectural quality.

You will mentor engineers, work with external vendors, and continuously improve processes, tooling, and practices to deliver scalable, performant products in a regulated Healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, Redux, RTK, and their ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns, performance, and scale.
• Experience with WebSocket, WebRTC, Twilio, and video conferencing protocols is a plus.
• Driven to own the process and deliver the solution.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support proprietary applications, websites, and services using React.
• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external members to deliver products and features on-time.
• Maintain ownership of the codebase architecture and quality.
• Develop new software to help modernize Healthcare IT.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Work with 3rd party vendors and customers to support their hardware on the eVisit platform.
• Evaluate processes, tools, and approaches to potentially incorporate into how we develop products to ensure we are always learning and improving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
