Job summary

Varmoda is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Senior Java Full Stack Developer to advance CI/CD platforms, deployment pipelines, and engineering practices that boost reliability and speed software delivery.

You will design reusable frameworks, internal platforms, and tools to increase productivity across teams, while driving modernization with cloud-native tech and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer or Full-Stack Engineer.
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages (C#, Java, Python, Go, JS/TS).
• Experience building scalable apps, APIs, and cloud-native services.
• Strong DevOps knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Leadership in complex projects and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
• Design and develop reusable frameworks, platforms, and tools.
• Lead modernization efforts around cloud-native tech and automation.
• Build and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and services.
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, product, and architecture teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalability and security.
• Identify process inefficiencies and improve SDLC/PDLC.
• Support DevOps initiatives via IaC and automation.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate opportunities.
