Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Software Developer to join a 200+ person technical development program supporting entitlement programs, IdAM/ICAM, and digital policy management. You will work with a large team of developers, engineers, and data engineers to modernize systems while ensuring secure, reliable IT operations.

The role focuses on Java and Angular (Typescript) development, AWS cloud usage, RESTful APIs, and modernization of legacy applications within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field with 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building and delivering full stack solutions including cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• List daily duties and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and delivery.
• Maintain and modernize legacy applications.
• Develop in Java and Angular (Typescript).
• Create and configure code in EC2 environments.
• Leverage AWS services for solution delivery.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with Spring Boot and front-end Angular.
• Design and implement custom ETL approaches.
• Communicate designs clearly and document work.
• Follow Agile and Scrum practices.
• Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and automated testing like Selenium.
