Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise applications across both modern and legacy stacks.

The ideal candidate writes scalable, secure code in C#, .NET Core, React, and REST APIs, mentors engineers, and raises engineering standards.

You will apply SOLID, clean architecture, and AI-assisted development practices while collaborating with product, QA, DevOps, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in enterprise software using C# and .NET.
• Designs full-stack enterprise apps, not only maintenance.
• Ability to take complex requirements from design to deployment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; Agile experience required.
• Experience working in team environments with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure applications using C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, React, microservices.
• Translate requirements into APIs, services, data models and integrations.
• Apply SOLID, clean architecture, DI, and design patterns.
• Build cloud-native apps with CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and observability.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document technical designs and solutions.
