GE HealthCare in the United States is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and evolve software solutions within an Agile team. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with product leaders, and help translate product vision into prioritized work packages.

The role requires extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS, and cloud-based microservices in a Kubernetes environment. A strong emphasis on SDLC, CI/CD, and scalable architectures is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or STEM field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years frontend with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS.
• Minimum 3 years backend with Java, Spring Boot, Apache Flink, and databases.
• Minimum 3 years of cloud-based software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing microservices within a Kubernetes-based ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and evolve software solutions in an Agile environment.
• Provide technical leadership to an Agile team of ~5-7 engineers.
• Partner with Product Line Leaders to understand product vision and priorities.
• Translate requirements into prioritized user stories and deliver on timelines.
• Collaborate to develop long-term technology roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by reuse and shared platforms.
• Support continuous improvement across development, maintenance, and support.
