Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, including lead or principal roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale, distributed, highly available systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or Go, with relevant frameworks.
• Extensive cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Ability to lead technical projects, influence direction, and mentor engineers effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure software systems for GE HealthCare products.
• Drive technical vision and strategy by evaluating new technologies to improve processes and offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, fostering innovation and learning.
• Partner with product management, UX/UI, QA, and other teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Resolve complex issues through debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Establish and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to maintenance.
• Serve as a software engineering SME and technical liaison for stakeholders.
