Job summary

Abbott in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics. You will make key technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

You will work within a cross-functional team to develop and sustain software systems, apply design controls and best practices, and contribute to cloud-based services (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Software Engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Java and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with cloud-based services and relational databases.
