As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, test, and maintain software applications, mentoring junior engineers and partnering with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions across Madison, WI or Redwood

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Understanding of and significant experience with object-oriented programming.
• RESTful web services, Relational Databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Entities Framework).
• Experience designing and developing apps that access and/or utilize cloud-based frameworks (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Agile development tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with STARLIMS custom code.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics.
• Make key technical decisions and mentor junior team members.
• Communicate with stakeholders and ensure software quality with minimal supervision.
• Follow design control processes and engineering best practices within a cross-functional team.
• Support and comply with the Quality Management System policies.
