Abbott is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for Cancer Diagnostics. You will lead key design decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic, global group.

Based in the United States with remote options, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, apply OO programming, and contribute to high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of software development and OO programming.
• Experience with RESTful web services, databases, and ORM technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based frameworks (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with agile tools and software development processes.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, GWT.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, and testing of software for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate with stakeholders and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium-to-complex issues independently.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and design reviews.
