Job summary

You will build backend services with Python (Django/FastAPI) and create responsive user interfaces with React, while optimizing PostgreSQL data models for large datasets. You will collaborate with bioinformatics scientists, product managers, and QA to translate scientific requirements into robust software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development with Python.
• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or similar web frameworks.
• Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience with schema design and queries.
• Hands-on AWS experience in deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for bioinformatics workflows.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with Python and Django/FastAPI.
• Develop responsive UIs with React and modern frontend tech.
• Architect data models and PostgreSQL databases for analytics.
• Deploy and operate apps in AWS with CI/CD and security practices.
