Storm3 is seeking a senior software engineer in New York to own full-stack development across patient, clinician, and internal portals. You will lead projects from concept to production within a small team, collaborating with sales, lab operations, research, and genetics teams to shape what gets built.

The role emphasizes Django, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL, and AWS expertise, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable solutions in a regulated health-tech environment.

Formación

• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong capabilities in Python/Django and TypeScript/React.
• Proactive approach to identifying work, questioning assumptions, and investigating root causes.
• Clear communication with non-technical colleagues and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and make sound decisions when details are lacking.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver full-stack functionality using Django, GraphQL, React, and TypeScript.
• Define requirements with lab staff, genetic counselors, researchers, and sales colleagues, then implement and maintain the solutions.
• Proactively identify operational gaps, data problems, and system weaknesses before they become issues.
• Take responsibility for production systems on AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to engineering practices across architecture, code reviews, testing, and development tools.
