Job summary

Commure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join Air Billing, the team behind high-traffic surfaces for claims, appointments, and payments posting in our healthcare practice management product. You will own end-to-end features on data-dense screens built on healthcare data and real EDI workflows, with AI integrated where it adds value.

You will work on a small, fast-moving team that ships quickly, reviews each other’s work closely, and operates near the billing operators who use the tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full-stack applications in production.
• Strong frontend skills with maintainable UIs.
• API and data-layer fundamentals, including filtering and pagination.
• Good debugging and observability instincts.
• Clear communication with teammates and partners.
• Ownership mindset and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end on claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces from design to production rollout.
• Write production-ready code with tests and observability, and design clean interfaces.
• Partner with product, design, and billing operations to solve biller's workflow problems.
• Build reliability and observability into features with dashboards, logging, and alerts.
• Review code and designs for correctness, performance, and UX consistency.
• Help set technical standards and onboard teammates as the team scales.
