Job summary

Commure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Air Billing team responsible for the high-traffic claims, appointments, and payments posting workspaces in our healthcare platform. You’ll develop data-dense interfaces on real healthcare plumbing (EDI transactions, payer automations) and apply AI selectively to bottlenecks.

Join a tight-knit team that ships fast, owns features end-to-end, and works closely with clinicians and billing staff to reduce friction in daily workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full-stack applications in production.
• Strong frontend skills with clean, maintainable UIs.
• API and data-layer fundamentals including filtering/pagination.
• Sound judgment on feature-level tradeoffs and risk.
• Good debugging, monitoring, logging, and alerting instincts.
• Clear communication with teammates and partners.
• Ownership mindset with bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end on claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces—from design through production rollout.
• Write production-ready code with tests and observability; design clean interfaces and data models.
• Collaborate with product, design, and billing operations to ensure solutions meet workflow needs.
• Build reliability into features with dashboards, logging, and alerting for fast issue root-cause.
• Review code and designs for correctness, performance on data-dense screens, consistent UX.
• Help set technical standards, patterns, and level up teammates as we scale.
