Job summary

Commure is hiring a Software Engineer II to join Air Billing, the team behind high-traffic claims, appointments and payments posting surfaces. You will own end-to-end features, write robust code, and work with clinicians and billers in a fast-paced, production environment.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and billing operations to ensure the workflow meets real-world needs, focusing on reliability, data-dense UIs, and scalable interfaces as we rebuild critical surfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building full-stack applications with production impact.
• Frontend skills for clean, maintainable UIs and debugging data-dense screens.
• API and data-layer fundamentals for backend endpoints with filtering/pagination.
• Sound technical judgment, balance tradeoffs, avoid over-engineering.
• Good debugging and observability instincts for production reliability.
• Clear communication and ownership mindset with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end on claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces.
• Write production-ready code with tests and observability; design interfaces.
• Collaborate with product/design/billing to solve workflow problems.
• Build reliability into features with dashboards, logging, and alerts.
• Review code and designs for correctness, performance, and UX consistency.
• Help set technical standards and mentor teammates as the team scales.
