Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead development for the Ford Enterprise Technology Atlassian Team. You will own the Atlassian portfolio, including Jira and related tools, ensuring security, testing, release governance, and AI-enabled engineering.

You will guide architecture, CI/CD, and deployment while coordinating cross-team agile ceremonies to accelerate delivery with quality and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline needed.
• Experience with enterprise-scale development and security controls.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all development work for the Ford-ET Atlassian Team.
• Build and maintain the Ford-ET GCP architecture and projects.
• Establish and monitor repeatable development processes.
• Plan, execute, and track software development activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the Atlassian portfolio.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• Contribute in agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
