Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the Ford-ET Atlassian Team, owning architecture, CI/CD, security, testing, and AI-assisted engineering across Jira, ROVO, Jira Service Management, and related tools.

You will build the GCP framework, establish repeatable processes, coordinate projects, and communicate complex concepts clearly while driving usability and performance across Enterprise Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management).
• Strong Python development, cloud architecture, and security/compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all development for the Ford-ET Atlassian portfolio.
• Build and maintain GCP architecture, framework, and projects.
• Establish repeatable development processes and governance.
• Plan, execute, and track software development activities.
• Identify issues; optimize customer experience and data handling.
• Communicate clearly in agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings.
