Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers and analysts responsible for dealer platform technology products. You will own the product lifecycle from roadmap to production support, while leading from hands-on technical fluency across GCP, Java Springboot microservices, PostgreSQL/Oracle, React, and Angular.

You will manage delivery, production incidents, and SLAs, translating dealer needs into clear epics and user stories.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
7+ years in product management or engineering leadership with teams of 10+.
Hands-on background with GCP, PostgreSQL/Oracle, Java Springboot microservices, React, and Angular.
Experience owning full product lifecycle delivery including production support.
Experience working with business stakeholders to set priorities and manage expectations.
Strong leadership, coaching, hiring, and team development skills.
Knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and system integration patterns.
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery as a lead or team member.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10+ developers and analysts, mentoring and guiding growth.
Own end-to-end delivery including sprint planning and risk management.
Oversee production support, incident management, and SLA adherence.
Define and maintain the product roadmap and technical strategy for dealer platforms.
Collaborate with business, marketing, and IT stakeholders to align goals.
