Job summary
JPMorgan Chase's Asset & Wealth Management infrastructure team is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will work as a seasoned member of an agile team across multiple domains to support the firm's objectives.
This role focuses on building production-grade code, applying SRE/DevOps practices, and leveraging enterprise AI coding assistants.
Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts.
- 5+ years of applied experience, plus 2+ years leading technologists.
- Experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Exposure to observability tools and cloud architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software in an agile team.
- Produce secure, high-quality production code with testing.
- Leverage AI coding assistants while maintaining peer review and security.
- Apply SDLC tools to automate and improve value delivery.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex apps.
- Glean insights from large data sets to improve software.
- Identify data patterns to drive architectural improvements.
- Follow best practices in SRE, DevOps, and observability.
