Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, North Dakota, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of aircraft seating. This onsite role requires strong C/C++ skills and DO-178 knowledge, with involvement across the full software lifecycle and HW/SW integration.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to requirements and architecture, and lead key tasks on programs to ensure performance, cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree or advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Contribute to SW development lifecycle including SW/HW integration.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues to develop solutions.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with internal/external teams.
• Participate in program and customer reviews/meetings.
• Support program leads on technical decisions and problem resolution.
• Provide technical leadership for key tasks or line items.
• Ensure performance against technical, cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Support requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
