Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ATS-SED team. The role focuses on developing and supporting air traffic management systems worldwide, with responsibilities spanning design, integration, testing, and documentation within a collaborative, Agile environment.

The position requires a STEM degree with significant experience in Unix/Linux, C/C++, and ADA, plus ClearCase proficiency. U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) plus 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience building, integrating, testing and validating software components in Unix/Linux
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle using C, C++ or ADA
• Experience with ClearCase in a Unix environment
• U.S. citizenship required to access program information

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build software for ATMS products
• Maintain documentation and work instructions to meet high-maturity software standards
• Participate in agile process with daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming
• Collaborate with an integrated engineering team across management and external stakeholders
