Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) team in Marlborough, MA. You will help modernize NAS radar systems, craft system requirements, and verify performance and safety through rigorous sell-off criteria.

You will influence the deployment of radar solutions across the US and internationally, integrating multiplatform ATC systems for commercial, military, and unmanned aircraft, with opportunities to grow into SME and advisory roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an Advanced Degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to these programs/contracts.
• Must be able to obtain FAA/DoD clearance.
• Experience with design, integration and test of complex systems.
• Experience generating technical documentation and facilitating briefings.

Responsibilities

• Join a dynamic Systems Engineering team modernizing Air Traffic Control RADAR systems in NAS and internationally.
• Develop system and product-level requirements for ATS radar systems.
• Verify requirements by developing sell-off criteria ensuring performance and safety.
• Directly impact modernization and deployment of radar across US and internationally.
• Develop solutions to integrate multiplatform ATC systems for commercial, military, and unmanned aircraft.
• Grow into SME and trusted consultant within the Systems Engineering team.
