Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a senior Reliability Engineer to lead AI-driven incident response and automated remediation across production systems. You will design evaluation harnesses, implement safety controls, and build reusable tooling to reduce toil while increasing reliability.

You will work in a remote-first environment with cross-functional teams, owning incidents, measuring outcomes, and shaping how engineering organizations adopt autonomous operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in site reliability engineering or production operations.
• Ability to explain problems, failure categories, and measurable impact.
• Experience redesigning workflows using AI and delivering AI-enabled systems.
• Experience building AI agents with guardrails, approvals, rollback, and blast-radius controls.
• Analytical, evidence-based approach to measuring performance and failure rates.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-quality code.
• Platform mindset: reusable tools, guardrails, safe defaults.
• Ability to work within established codebases and respect architectural standards.
• Ownership and accountability in production environments.
• Effective cross-team communication and collaboration.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on reliability and AI-driven automation.
• Willingness to maintain meaningful working-hour overlap (11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. IST).

Responsibilities

• Improve AI-driven incident investigation by identifying root causes and recurring failures.
• Expand automated remediation across operations with controlled autonomy.
• Design and maintain evaluation harnesses, fault-injection benchmarks, and metrics.
• Implement production safety mechanisms including kill switches, approvals, rollbacks, and blast-radius controls.
• Develop AI agents to reduce operational toil and create reusable capabilities.
• Build a reusable reliability platform with safe defaults and guardrails.
• Maintain and improve existing systems within documented architectures.
• Respond to critical production issues to stabilize systems and prevent recurrence.
• Promote deterministic and safe engineering by prioritizing conventional code before AI.
• Drive measurable operational outcomes through adoption and reliability improvements.
