Job summary

Jobgether SRL in the United States is seeking a senior AI engineering professional to design, build, and operate production-grade AI platforms, ML pipelines, and agentic workflows at scale.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver secure, observable AI solutions using AWS, IaC, and modern DevOps practices, while upholding governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• At least six years of experience building intelligent systems or AI-enhanced applications.
• Experience designing and delivering production ML/AI systems.
• Experience deploying generative AI applications, incl. guardrails and some fine-tuning exposure.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and LLM integration patterns (e.g., Bedrock, AgentCore, LangGraph).
• Strong coding skills and ability to design, implement, test, and maintain robust software systems.
• Experience with cloud-native data services, IaC, CI/CD, and secure software development principles (prefer AWS).
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional, customer-facing solutions with data science, product, and engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to document decisions clearly.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts like threat detection, risk modeling, telemetry; MITRE ATT&CK familiarity.
• Knowledge of data processing/streaming tech (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Databricks) is a plus.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities within engineering teams.
• Security-first mindset across the AI development lifecycle.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to information security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI systems and agentic workflows.
• Translate business challenges into practical data integration and intelligence solutions.
• Develop and optimize LLM-powered applications with evaluative safeguards and governance.
• Build and maintain ML pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure (prefer AWS).
• Apply security-first engineering, observability, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, threat researchers, and security ops.
• Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Hands-on coding, reviews, debugging, testing, and issue resolution.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to raise code quality and standards.
• Instrument AI systems to measure quality and performance; iterate on outputs.
