Job summary

Commure's Air Billing team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the high‑traffic claims, appointments, and payments posting surfaces used by billers daily. You'll work on fast, data‑dense workflows built on healthcare plumbing, including EDI, payer automation, and AI‑in‑the‑loop enhancements.

You’ll ship end-to-end features, write tests, design scalable data models, and partner with product, design, and billing ops to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full‑stack applications with production shipping experience.
• Strong frontend UI skills and rendering of data-dense screens.
• Experience designing backend endpoints with filtering and pagination.
• Good judgment on feature scope, risk and avoiding over‑engineering.
• Solid debugging, monitoring and alerting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end on claims, appointments, and payments surfaces from design to production.
• Write production ready code with tests and clean interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design, and billing ops to solve workflows.
• Build observability — dashboards, logs, and alerts for rapid issue resolution.
• Review code and designs for performance and consistent UX.
• Help set technical standards and onboard teammates.
