Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production systems powering AI-enabled workflows for institutional clients. You’ll be part of the AI Platform team delivering foundational infrastructure used by GPX and internal automation.

You will own end‑to‑end projects, collaborate with staff engineers, product, design, and QA, and help elevate engineering standards, code quality, and producibility across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend/full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong Python expertise and frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Cloud-native tech including AWS; Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD understanding and production observability.
• Ability to work across product, design, and QA.
• Hands-on AI-native development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production‑quality systems and APIs.
• Own projects end‑to‑end from design to deployment.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and production health.
• Develop reusable infrastructure and tooling.
• Improve velocity via automation and docs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and reviews.
• Work with product, design, and QA to align solutions.
• Develop AI‑native capabilities with safeguards.
• Advance AI‑fluent development practices.
