Job summary

Juniper Square, the Operations Partner for private markets, is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with GP clients and a senior engineer across the full delivery lifecycle. You’ll contribute from discovery through deployment, building AI-enabled solutions in a client-facing context.

This AI-first role requires independence, strong collaboration with platform and product teams, and a focus on reusable components and rapid delivery to production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience shipping production software with hands-on AI-enabled applications.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and deliver working software.
• Full-stack engineering across data, services, user interfaces, and the infrastructure underneath them.
• Working knowledge of a major cloud provider, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Comfort working directly with external clients or customers.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and ability to debug and defend what you ship.
• Developing product judgment: defining scope for a first release and prioritizing.
• Excellent written communication across requirements, documentation, and client updates.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GP clients to identify workflows where custom agents provide leverage.
• Support discovery and translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements and criteria.
• Own components through prototype, validation, hardening, deployment, and production rollout.
• Design agentic systems: retrieval, context design, integration, orchestration, and observability.
• Work across client-edge solutions with Juniper Square platform and product teams.
• Make engineering trade-offs prioritizing reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Support adoption with post-launch iteration and user feedback.
• Create documentation, train users, and aid rollout to drive adoption.
