Job summary

Goodshuffle is seeking a software engineer in the DC area to build SaaS products for event businesses. You will run discovery calls weekly, visit warehouses to capture real-world workflows, and own problems from discovery to roadmap iterations.

You will lead end-to-end builds with founders and teams, manage data modeling, migrations, and UX. The role emphasizes AI, reliability, and scalable systems in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer.
• A Computer Science degree.
• Experience shipping products that people use in their daily lives.
• Experience building distributed systems.
• Excitement and energy from how fast the field is moving with AI.

Responsibilities

• Build products that people love using. Run discovery calls weekly and visit warehouses to understand workflows.
• Own end-to-end builds, shaping requirements with founders, and architect scalable data models and UX.
• Support production systems, automate tasks, and trace root causes to prevent repeats.
