Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build end-to-end features in Golang and React, and to enhance a high-traffic compliance platform on AWS and Kubernetes. You will assess third-party tools, drive integrations, and collaborate with product, design, security, data, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, ensure observability, and own reliability for Tier-1 systems while contributing to cross-team architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping large-scale systems with Golang and React.
• Experience with third-party vendor integrations and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, caching, rate limiters, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end user-facing features using Golang, React, and cloud technologies.
• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations.
• Drive cross-functional delivery of complex technical solutions with product, design, security, data, and engineering teams.
• Architect platform improvements to deliver reusable capabilities across teams.
• Own reliability for Tier-1 compliance systems, anticipating issues before they reach production.
• Mentor engineers in full-stack design, testing, release, and observability.
