Job summary

Deloitte’s Senior Software Engineer III, AI & Engineering, leads end-to-end full-stack development of AI-enabled solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll architect scalable features, design cloud-native REST/async APIs, and drive delivery from requirements to production.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
• 4+ years of experience designing, developing and delivering AI/ML solutions.
• Experience designing or implementing production agentic workflows (orchestration, tool integration, state management).
• Hands-on experience deploying production Claude models and integrating Claude APIs into apps.
• Experience applying prompt/context engineering to improve AI solutions.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams or engagements translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 4+ years of full-stack development using Python/Java/.NET/Go/Node.js and React/Angular/Vue.
• 4+ years in a client-facing development role with REST/GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Design and operationalize RESTful and asynchronous APIs on cloud-native infrastructure.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate Claude AI platforms to enable context-aware features and automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, write automated tests, and support reliability.
