Guidehouse is seeking a skilled Software/Data Engineer to build agentic AI solutions using Claude and enterprise APIs. You will translate business needs into practical designs and prototypes, and develop reliable workflows with tool use, structured outputs, and human review where needed.

The role focuses on creating scalable integrations, data pipelines, and database strategies while balancing usability and safety across solutions. Travel up to 10% and ability to obtain Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Data Science.
• 4+ years in software/data/analytics engineering or related role.
• 2+ years building GenAI/LLM/agentic solutions.
• Experience with Claude API or related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and support agentic AI solutions using Claude, API integrations, and modern development practices.
• Translate business needs into technical designs and prototypes including Custom Skills.
• Develop reliable agent workflows with tools, structured outputs, retrieval, and human review.
• Contribute to solution patterns balancing usability, performance, and safety.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems via APIs and data pipelines.
• Support read-oriented workflow integrations with common business systems and applications.
• Work with relational databases and data storage patterns to support state, retrieval, and auditability.
