Job summary

Vantage Risk Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an agile product team on the Reinsurance platform. You will collaborate with TDM, DPM, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality software, report to the AVP, Software Engineering, and contribute to architecture and roadmap.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, AI-assisted solutions, cloud components (Azure/AWS), and DevSecOps practices in a fast-growing specialty (re)insurance business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 8–10 years hands-on software development as a full-stack engineer.
• Strong JavaScript development with React and Node.
• Strong Python development.
• Experience with AI development techniques (Claude, Gemini) to accelerate solutions.
• Experience building serverless components on Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud/network/storage/server infra and Kubernetes.
• Proven CI/CD, DevSecOps, and code quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and senior tech leadership to align work with enterprise architecture.
• Deliver high-quality software in an agile team with testers and developers.
• Build user-friendly, resilient applications and services.
• Lead architecture and design discussions and mentor teammates.
• Contribute to product roadmaps with high-level estimates and roadmapping input.
