Job summary

Empower Pharmacy, the nation’s advanced 503A compounding pharmacy and FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility, seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Automation to design scalable backend systems powering operations, manufacturing, logistics, and regulatory compliance across its environment.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to platform velocity with CI/CD, IaC, and AI-assisted tooling, and ensure performance, observability, and reliability in a highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in backend features and systems.
• Experience in regulated industries requiring auditability and data traceability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems for pharmacy operations, manufacturing, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance to reduce systemic risk in a highly regulated environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform velocity with CI/CD, IaC, and reusable libraries.
