Job summary

Unity seeks a Senior Software Engineer to elevate the reliability, scalability, and performance of its AI authoring products. You will own backend infrastructure, implement IaC, and ensure robust deployments across Azure and Google Cloud with strong observability.

You will collaborate with product and design teams to shape the roadmap, build scalable cloud services, and push the boundaries of the Unity Editor with AI-driven features, ensuring secure, cost-efficient operations at scale.

• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Contribute to technical strategy for Unity AI and backend platforms.
• Design and implement scalable solutions for Unity AI products and editor enhancements.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, security, and cost-efficiency of backend systems.
• Lead infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and deployment practices across clouds (Azure/GCP).
• Develop and mature release processes coordinating development to production.
