Job summary

Dialpad in San Francisco is seeking a core technical leader to shape the vision, architecture, and execution of its next-generation Agentic AI platform, moving beyond passive copilots to autonomous workflow execution.

You will work with Product, Applied Research, Design and leadership to build production-grade systems where AI agents reason, act, coordinate, and safely execute workflows, while fostering an AI-native engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and technical leadership.
• Experience shipping large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems and production infra.
• Ability to set technical goals and reduce architectural risk.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural roadmap and delivery of the Agentic infrastructure.
• Design scalable multi-modal AI agents for autonomous support and real-time reasoning.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar with standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align tech with business strategy.
• Research new agent frameworks and safety guardrails for enterprise use.
