Job summary

Dialpad seeks a core technical leader to shape the vision, architecture, and execution of its Agentic AI platform, moving beyond passive copilots into autonomous workflow execution across massive enterprise datasets.

You will build production-grade systems where AI agents reason, act, coordinate, and safely execute workflows, reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering with potential to base in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong foundations in scaling distributed systems and production-grade infra.
• Experience with AI, LLM platforms and agent architectures.
• Hands-on with frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or cloud agent ecosystems.
• Safety/observability in AI systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural roadmap and delivery of Dialpad’s Agentic infrastructure.
• Design and deploy scalable, multi-modal AI agents for autonomous support across enterprise workflows.
• Mentor senior engineers and set technical standards for AI-native SDLC.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research to align execution with strategy.
• Research and implement agent frameworks, LLM optimization, and safety guardrails.
