Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations to design, build, and maintain scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You will craft REST APIs, webhooks, and AWS serverless workflows to sync data with external accounting platforms.

You will mentor engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and focus on performance, reliability, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery across finance integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing REST APIs, webhooks, and serverless workflows on AWS.
• Familiarity with Python for data-focused backends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integration architectures.
• Design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and diagnose complex system issues.
• Collaborate with and mentor engineers to improve performance and reliability.
• Pursue root causes to ensure a seamless customer experience.
