Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations, to lead scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You’ll design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS workflows to sync data with external accounting platforms, while mentoring peers and driving performance.

Qualifications

Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience with AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
Solid understanding of REST APIs and webhooks.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Ability to design scalable, reliable integrations and pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integrations.
Diagnose and resolve critical issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
Create documentation for code and processes to enable team collaboration.
Manage daily workload across multiple priorities.
