Job summary

ServiceTrade seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Accounting Integrations to lead scalable integration architectures using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You will design robust REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven AWS serverless workflows to sync data with external accounting platforms.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, diagnose complex system issues, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining performance and reliability across our integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable integration architectures using JS/TS and Node.js.
• Design REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven AWS serverless workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB/DocumentDB, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Proactive approach to performance, scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integrations.
• Design and implement robust REST APIs, webhooks and serverless workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues and mentor junior engineers.
