Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations, to lead the development and maintenance of scalable integration architecture using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, designing robust REST APIs and event-driven AWS workflows that connect to external accounting platforms.

You will mentor engineers, champion quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, high-performance integrations that scale for thousands of commercial contractors, with ownership from

Qualifications

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js; work with mixed codebases.
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and AWS serverless workflows.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB; familiarity with CI/CD and testing.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of scalable accounting integrations.
Diagnose and resolve critical system issues and improve reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
Document code and processes for seamless team collaboration.
Manage daily workload across competing priorities.
