Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer in Irvine, CA to lead feature development from ideation to release. You will contribute to architecture of high-complexity features and promote engineering best practices for scalable SaaS products.

You will mentor peers, work with a fast-paced team, and help accelerate the product roadmap while delivering exceptional user experiences. Strong background in TypeScript, Python, React, and cloud services is expected.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience delivering highly scalable SaaS with multi-tenancy
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful services
Expertise in TypeScript and Python
Strong skills in React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Docker
Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience with real-time data or event systems
Relational DB design (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
AI/LLM integration or healthcare domain is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Requirements

7+ years of experience in delivering highly scalable, distributed software products with SaaS architectures and multi‑tenancy
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful Services
Expertise in TypeScript and Python
Strong skills in React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Docker
Preferably having experience with UV, Vite, Redis Cache, Postgres, Express, Inversify, Agno
Experience in developing real‑time data or event systems
Experience designing relational schemas on relational data stores like PostgreSQL, MySQL
Experience with cloud‑service providers like Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud
Self‑motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to lead and mentor other software engineers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills
Experience in a fast moving, growth‑minded startup, and comfort with flexibility and adaptability as requirements change
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on different assignments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent training experience
Experience with AI/LLM integration, Microsoft Office Add‑in development, or clinical trials / regulated healthcare domain is a strong plus
