Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software leader to supervise engineers and drive end-to-end software lifecycle ownership in a cloud- and AI-focused environment.

You will mentor teams, design scalable architectures, and ensure high performance and security across deployments while collaborating with product and business stakeholders to align tech initiatives with strategic goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred.
Significant hands-on experience in application architecture/design, software development, and testing.
Experience preferably in an Agile professional environment.
Significant hands-on experience and knowledge of public cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
12+ years of proven experience using Java, Ab Initio, React, Spring, Spark, Kafka, Postgres, Ignite, RESTful APIs, in‑memory computing, IntelliJ, Couchbase, and OpenSearch.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-based architecture.
Experience designing and building AI‑powered and Agentic AI solutions.
Experience with LLM‑based applications, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and AI service integrations.
Hands‑on full‑stack development experience using Node.js, Java, Python, or similar backend technologies.
Experience building responsive web applications with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with DevOps and customizing pipelines based on product needs.
Strong engineering and professional leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, partner, and collaborate across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities
