Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Columbus, OH to design and develop robust web applications using TypeScript, React, and .NET. You will collaborate with architects to implement Azure cloud solutions and lead teams through complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of production software experience, strong TS/React/.NET skills, Azure expertise, and a track record with AI tools.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience, plus typically 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
8+ years building and shipping production software applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET.
Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, ideally including Kafka.
Track record of using AI tools effectively in day-to-day development workflow.
Ability to take a feature from ambiguous requirement to production with limited direction.
Consistent follow-through on commitments and a bias toward finishing work.
Collaborative approach to software development and problem solving.
Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
Priority given to candidates residing in the Columbus, OH metropolitan area.
No sponsorship available presently or in the future.
Preferred: healthcare applications, EHR integrations, RPA technology, CI/CD pipelines, and open source contributions.
