Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a seasoned Engineering Leader to build and mentor a high-performance team responsible for enterprise AI-powered solutions. You will drive architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery, shaping a technical roadmap to accelerate product velocity while ensuring reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

Experience leading AI technology design and adoption.
Hands-on expertise in AI/ML, generative AI, and enterprise-scale AI solutions.
Fluency with C#/.NET, HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, RESTful Web Services, and event-driven architectures.
Fluency with at least one additional modern language such as Java, Python, or Go; OSS experience a plus.
Ability to contribute hands-on 10–20% of the time.
Strong knowledge of system design and lifecycle of core services and APIs.
Experience with unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
Experience with RESTful and gRPC services, event-driven architecture, microservices, messaging, storage/persistence.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with monitoring tools and performance assessments.
SQL and NoSQL databases understanding; stateful services management.

Requirements

Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and adoption of AI technologies
Hands‑on expertise and deep understanding of AI/ML, generative AI, and enterprise‑scale AI solutions
Fluency with C#/.NET, HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, RESTful Web Services, and event‑driven architectures
Fluency with at least one additional modern language such as Java, Python, or Go; open‑source software experience is a plus
Ability to develop software hands‑on at least 10–20% of the time
Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and the full lifecycle of core services and APIs
Experience with unit, integration, functional, and performance testing
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts
Experience implementing RESTful and gRPC services, event‑driven architecture, microservices, messaging technology, and storage/persistence approaches
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including stateful services management and storage

6+ years of professional software engineering experience
5+ years of development in a large‑scale, mission‑critical environment

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
