Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience within software engineering.
• Strong technical depth in a modern Microsoft‑oriented development environment.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience with modern planning, source-control, and delivery-management platforms.
• Proven success improving software development processes and delivery performance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team across software engineering and DevOps.
• Establish and continuously improve engineering standards for code quality and delivery.
• Oversee DevOps practices including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Expand use of AI-assisted development tools across the lifecycle.
• Improve developer productivity and delivery speed through process improvements.
• Lead sprint planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Improve estimation, planning, and predictability of software delivery.
• Collaborate with security to maintain secure development and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance while empowering senior engineers to own execution.
