Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Software Developer to join a 200+ FTE program in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, attributes, and digital policy management. You will work with a large team of developers and data engineers to modernize systems while ensuring secure, reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 6–10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Full Stack Development experience.
• Experience in multiple programming languages (Java, Spring Boot, Angular (TypeScript), and AWS).
• Experience in reading and developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
• Experience working in Command Line (RHEL Linux).
• Experience developing custom ETL methodology.
• Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Git, and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize legacy applications.
• Write and configure code in EC2 instances using scripts.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services for the environment.
• Design and utilize a custom ETL methodology.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop Java and Angular applications leveraging Elasticsearch.
• Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews.
• Utilize automated testing frameworks (Selenium).
• Communicate clearly and document designs and decisions.
• Organize work effectively and manage workload.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to deliver solutions.
• Think through technical challenges in a collaborative, Agile team.
• Work within Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers on best practices.
