Job summary

B4Corp in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Engineer to support a 200+ FTE development program. The role focuses on modernizing legacy applications, AWS deployments, and developing RESTful services.

You will work with a large team of developers, data engineers, and focus on secure, scalable IT systems. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with strong Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React experience and agile practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
• Must have experience with Java, spring boot, Angular (Typescript), React, and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services
• Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements and specifications
• Prior experience developing custom ETL
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, selenium, and Rundeck
• Experience working in Command Line (RH Linux)
• Experience with APIs and microservices

Responsibilities

• Maintain legacy applications and modernize them for improved performance
• Write scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
• Leverage AWS services and develop RESTful APIs
• Build and deploy microservices with Spring Boot
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and mentor juniors
• Participate in code reviews and automated testing
