Job summary

VTG Defense in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Developer to join a 200+ FTE program supporting Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, and digital policy management. You will work with a large team to modernize and secure IT systems on AWS while maintaining reliability.

The role requires a BS degree and 4–10 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular/Typescript, and cloud services. Expect RESTful APIs, EC2 scripts, and Agile/Scrum collaboration.

• Experience in multiple programming languages (Java, Spring Boot, Angular/Typescript) and cloud/AWS.
• Full stack development and experience delivering solutions per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Write scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances.
• Leverage AWS services and modernize legacy apps.
• Follow Agile & Scrum processes and perform code reviews and testing.
