Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Senior Software Developer to support development and integration of Government-owned and contractor-developed software aboard Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs).

The role requires an Interim Secret Clearance and US citizenship to obtain clearance. You will work with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to manage agile cycles and translate complex operational requirements into technical specifications.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline required.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and managing software teams.
• Interim Secret Clearance required; US citizenship needed to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable software architectures for USV platforms.
• Collaborate with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to translate operational requirements into technical specs.
• Prioritize high-impact development tasks and establish technical baselines.
